Wishes and Dreams (and Jealousy)
One of our church families, (parents and a five year old daughter) flew to Walt Disney World yesterday afternoon. Elizabeth was telling us all about her plans as we shook hands after the Divine Service. It is her first trip to WDW! Such excitement!
I never went as a child. Perhaps that is my issue. I'm making up for lost time -- that's why I like to go as often as we can save up for it!
A dream is a wish your heart makes...

Then I better not tell you that we leave for Disneyworld in 31 days. (Too late!) And, to boot, I just got _back_ from DW on April 13th. Julie Sandor Wilder and I were there for a long weekend April 11-13. Yes, our families are jealous as well....
I'm sure you'll be headed down there soon.
39 days and counting for the Arndts!
Can not wait for all the fun and Magic to begin.
I inherited some farm land which I share with my siblings.
We rent it out and it is farmed during the year.
Disney is being paid for with my share of the farmland rent!
It is crazy though because we get a 2 bedroom suite that sleeps 10 with (2 queen beds in each bedroom) a living room(with pull out sofa bed)/kitchen 2 bathrooms, pool-side cocktail hour, hot and cold breakfast to share with my sister for 120.00 a night. Man oh man... that is what made me shake my head and say Shoot.
We do want the full Magic package but we are definitely paying for it. Definitely.
Nope, not too soon. This pastor's wife is quitting her job to follow a different dream. It's gonna be a while. So, for now, we will just leave out what you write about your trips! It's just not in our budget!
I am SO jealous you went without kids.
