Sometimes it is good to get a little escape from it all with some light, fun fiction. I just (quickly) read a novel by Ridley Pearson that we got Ben last year, entitled "The Kingdom Keepers." It is a fantasy, about five young teens who have been the live models for holographic hosts for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
I won't spoil it. Suffice it to day that the "real" world and dreams collide, and it is up to five kids to save Walt Disney World -- and maybe even the rest of the world! I recommend it for wholesome, fun reading for kids. If as an adult you are still a Disney fanatic, you will enjoy it too.
I discovered today that a sequel just came out last month. It looks promising as well.
